The DJ Show Scotland didn’t disappoint!

Visitors had been waiting with anticipation for The DJ Show Scotland event so they could see our latest products in action first hand. Our stand was filled to the brim with not only products but visitors; becoming a hive of activity throughout the evening.

We showcased numerous new products at this years’ event including moving heads, light effects, battensbar systemsbooths and of course the Equinox Arcus 2000 low fogger, which became this years’ show stopper and was also the star raffle prize! And what a prize it was, not only did the winner receive an Arcus 2000 they also carried away a flight case, taking the prize total in excess of £1000!

Heading up the show…

Equinox is on fire at the moment, and we don’t just mean the Flame Machines we had on display. Our moving head game is strong with one of our newest, the 200 Zoom Spot, further expanding the Fusion range. This powerful fixture is one of the brightest in the DJ market for the price point currently and gained a lot of attention, not only does it house a multitude of features it is powered by a 200W LED. Joining it was another in the range the Fusion 140, a compact moving head wash that features 7 six-colour LEDs, providing vibrant, rich colour mixing with the addition of the amber and UV. Then we have the Fusion 260ZR, another great fixture from Equinox, bridging the gap in the market where eye-candy effects and smooth washes of colours are required.

The ever-popular Equinox Vortex was also featured on the stand, along with the Swing Batten a motorised moving multi-beam bar that produces stunning aerial effects. The LEDJ Rubix continued to wow at every show catching everyone’s attention with its 3D effects.

One product we had lots of enquiries about was the anticipated release of the Equinox Helix, a mega bright 100W Gobo Flower producing showers of moving gobos that can be projected on to walls and dance floors. This compact unit has some clever programming giving users the flexibility to select certain gobos and choose specific colours whilst being used in the auto and sound active modes.

To top it all off, we had our latest bar system on show, Microbar Multi Reloaded, along with the Equinox Combi Booth. The booth system is extremely compact, making it ideal for smaller vehicles, and we lit it from behind with a Hypnos; people were amazed how effective this was and the mesmerising effects it created.

Watch this space as we have even more product additions coming soon.

Even though this is a show aimed at the DJ market, we still showcased some high-end fixtures that all areas of the lighting industry have shown an interest in including the eLumen8 Trigon, the Virtuoso Fresnel and Profile, along with the LEDJ FS 100 Followspot and Spectra QX40 Pixel exterior wash. These attracted event and rental companies who visited and wanted to take a closer look at these new fixtures.

Bradley Jeffrey, Product Group Manager of the Prolight Concepts Group Ltd said…

“This years’ event was a huge success from start to finish, we continuously had a huge amount of footfall on the stand with many visitors wanting to know more about the latest Equinox, LEDJ and eLumen8 fixtures. The show definitely didn’t disappoint, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the next one.”
