Qdos Entertainment keeps stable of Jem Glaciators running smooth with Martin Service

UK-based Qdos Entertainment is one of the largest entertainment companies in Europe, and one of the largest single owners and users of Jem Glaciator low-lying fog generators on the planet. Their Pantomimes Division - the world’s leading pantomime producer with 24 pantomimes being staged in the current season and over 570 productions to its credit - stocks 23 of the Jem units and recently added a comprehensive Martin service contract to keep the machines running smooth for years to come.

“With producing twenty-four pantomimes at the same time and our other year-round show commitments, I chose to own our own stock of Glaciator units,” states Mark Sherwood, Production Director at Qdos Entertainment Group. “I approached Jonathan Hatt, Service Manager at Martin UK, to discuss the possibility of a yearly service program for the kit and quickly agreed a favorable fee for a rolling annual maintenance program.”

Qdos Head of LX, Craig Sweeny-Chisholm, works closely with Martin Service & Support Manager Richard Pocklington at Martin’s Louth facility on a schedule that services Qdos’ units in batches of five, keeping the bulk of stock active.

“Richard and his team handle our account with great flexibility and understanding and provide an outstanding service, including advice and installation of upgrades, a high level of maintenance and friendly, understanding service,” Mark says.

Martin Professional offers a variety of service contracts for preventive maintenance from a basic cleaning schedule to complete care with cleaning, parts replacement and repair, as well as customized coverage options.
