Theatres across Europe have taken up the fight against the EU's proposed Eco-design Working Plan 2016-2019 regulation. London's National Theatre was joined by Cánovas Theatre in Malaga, Lliure Theatre in Barcelona, Civic Theatre in Dublin and Circo Price Theatre in Madrid, beaming the campaign’s official hashtag – #SaveStageLighting – on the exteriors of their buildings over in late April.

The #SaveStageLighting campaign, launched by the UK’s Association of Lighting Designers (ALD) and rapidly gaining traction with associated groups across Europe, must win a full exemption for all professional light sources, from the devastating effect of the EU’s proposed Eco-design Working Plan 2016-2019.
