Rory is a freelance lighting designer working both in the UK and internationally. His work spans West End, Regional and UK Touring productions as well as projects overseas. He has previously been nominated for a Knight of Illumination Award for his work on Così fan Tutte at Opera Holland Park and was awarded the Michael Northen Award by the Association of Lighting Designers.

Originally from the Scottish Highlands, Rory moved to London to train at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where he subsequently graduated with First Class Honours and was the recipient of the Lord Mayor’s prize.
