David Plater

David trained in lighting design at RADA leaving in 1993. He has designed for plays, musicals, dance and opera. He has designed regionaly, in the west end, at the Donmar Warehouse, the Royal Court, and extensively on the London fringe. David was Chief Electrician at the Donmar Warehouse where he worked from Nov 1994 until March 2012. He is now freelance. He has been resident lighting designer for ballet black since their formation in 2002.
