Lachlan Cross

Lachlan Cross is a Brisbane-based production lighting technician with a diverse background spanning both civil engineering and the performing arts. After more than a decade working in engineering, he returned to the theatre industry in 2017, bringing with him a refined technical skill set and a disciplined, solutions-focused approach. Since then, Lachlan has worked extensively as a Technical Coordinator, Lighting Head Electrician, and Lighting Technician across a range of productions.

He specialises in set and prop electrics for theatre, combining practical craftsmanship with creative problem-solving to deliver reliable and visually effective lighting solutions. This focus led to the establishment of his small business, LX Scene Craft, through which he provides tailored electrics builds for stage productions.

Known for his high attention to detail and consistent quality of work, Lachlan has built a strong reputation for delivering robust, practical, and innovative lighting solutions that support both creative vision and technical execution.
