Ross Henderson
Biography
Undertakes work as a freelance lighting technician (and designer for small scale productions) with some experience in relighting shows and small scale tours, well as original designs for local companies and fringe performances as well as some architectural lighting projects including an interactive lighting installation in a privately owned 18th century church, now in use as commercial office space, and site-specific work.
In addition to design and operation, has experience in show control such as OSC and MSC including building bespoke software and firmware for control systems for distributed control and interactive installations.
Selected Lighting credits include; A Streetcar Named Desire (2022, Florians Theatre), A View From the Bridge (2018, Florians Theatre), Blithe Spirit (2019, Florians Theatre), A Big Picnic (2011, Ryan Centre Theatre + Touring), Cabaret acts with Rhymes with Purple at ''T In the Park'' (Festival Tent), Tether End (2011, Scottish Youth Theatre), Motherhood: The Musical (Kings Theatre, Glasgow as Associate), The Likes of Us (TRAM Direct)
Installation work includes software development for "Written in the Stars" (Designer: James Smith), "To the Beat", "Light Message"
