Michael D. Finch

Michael has had a varied and expansive experience in most genres of lighting design. After graduating from Mountview in 1989, he has encompassed film, television, video, theatre and architectural lighting projects. Throughout his professional career, Michael continually progressed from technician, technical manager to theatre manager. He then jumped to the corporate sector and managed the hires and sales sections for Sparks Theatrical Hire.

Michael now runs the successful international company The LUXF@©tor Group (UK), part of which has a Client Management Division for Creatives including Lighting Designers, Video Designers, Actors and Televison Presenters .

Michael maintains his dedication to youth and childrens' charitable work by being a Board Director for First Light Movie Award Winning Charitable Youth organisation Worthing Youth Media - All unwanted Apple MACs gratefully received too! and as a Care assistant for Riding for the Disabled Organisation - all outgrown jodhpurs and riding boots gratefully received here !

Michael is also a member of the ABTT Safety Committee, and has two Cockatiels named Powder & Puff, which if you Video call, often make guest appearances in the picture, and usually on his shoulder!
