Stage Electrics, technical supplier of lighting, sound, video, scenic solutions and event management to the worlds of corporate event, conference, exhibition and entertainment, have made a new management appointment for 2010.
Joining the team as Head of Live Events is Mike Jackson an industry veteran. Mike started in the events industry almost 20 years ago when he joined Spectrum Communications and quickly became a regular customer of Stage Electrics.

As a Project Manager he developed a specialism in large scale technical events culminating in the Edinburgh European Summit in 1992. He went on to be Project Director of the first Microsoft TechEd event in 1994 leading to the setup of his own agency, Ultimate Events in 1995. In July 2001 having sold the business, Ultimate Events was merged with two other leading events companies PCI and HP:ICM to become PCI:Live Mike remained a Director of PCI:Live until he left London to relocate with his family to Bristol in 2005. Mike has recently returned to the world of live events and is very excited about joining a company he has been a loyal customer of for so many years.
