Now in its 10th year, Stage Electrics’ regional UK lighting, audio and video exhibition schedule kicks off in October with its inaugural Manchester Exhibition at the Royal Northern College of Music on October 3rd.It will be followed a week later by a Tyneside Exhibition at Newcastle College on October 10th, and on October 17th by the Welsh Exhibition at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama – where Stage Electrics last year installed large sound, production lighting and communications systems in the concert hall and theatre.
The regional exhibitions are designed as informal, low key events which are open to anyone who is interested in lighting, audio and video, who can mingle, review the latest products and network to mutual benefit. Pre-registration has now opened via the company’s website here
Aimed at schools, the arts, theatres, broadcast and general entertainment, the one-day events have proved a huge success in the past with several hundred people attending each day at exhibitions at have included venues from Tyneside to Wales.
Stage Electrics’ distribution brands featured will include Advance Adhesive Tapes, Altair, Analog Way, Arri, Avolites, Bose, Chauvet, Clay Paky, DiGiCo, EM Acoustics, ETC, GDS, Highlite, Lee Filters, MA Lighting, Martin Professional, Philips Selecon and Vari-Lite, Prolyte Group, Pulsar, RCF, Rosco, Roland Systems Group, Swisson, Yamaha and Zero 88.
As in previous years students from each venue will form the backbone of the event production teams as part of their performing arts course work.
