Claypaky confirmed its commitment to education again in 2026 by opening its doors to students of the Master in Lighting Design and LED Technology promoted by Politecnico di Milano. For 24 years, the Master has represented a path of excellence for the growth of young lighting designers, providing skills applicable across a wide range of applications.
This year, the collaboration with Claypaky took a new step forward with the involvement of LD Giovanni Pinna, a renowned lighting designer who works with prominent international artists and productions. Pinna guided the students in a masterclass held at the iconic Teatro Sociale in Como, exploring the potential of Claypaky's latest moving lights and pixel-mapping fixtures.
The event included an in-depth technical session where the participants had the opportunity to experiment with the advanced features of the Claypaky Rhapsody, Sinfornia Profile 600, Klemantis 1000 RGBW, Orkis CYC and Actoris Profile FC. The students engaged in a lively discussion with Pinna, learning how to maximize the creative possibilities of these innovative tools.
"Claypaky is proud to contribute to the training of the next generation of lighting designers," said Pio Nahum, CEO of Claypaky. "By supporting initiatives like the Politecnico Masterclass, we aim to inspire young talents and provide them with the technical know-how to elevate their artistic vision."
The collaboration between Claypaky and the Politecnico di Milano Master in Lighting Design and LED Technology is a testament to the company's commitment to nurturing the future of the industry. Through this partnership, Claypaky continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the skills and creativity of emerging lighting designers.
