Lighting Designer Jasangat Sonpal chose a large complement of Claypaky lighting fixtures for Aditya Gadhvi's massive two-day concert series, April 25 and 26, at the Jio World Garden in the Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai, India. Equipment rental house Light N Light, also in Mumbai, provided a big array of Claypaky fixtures for the event.
They included Claypaky Xtylos, B-EYE K15 and K25, Tambora BATTEN, Arolla Aqua, and Sharpy X-Frame fixtures. The extraordinary variety of Claypaky fixtures allowed Sonpal to create a wide range of visual effects, from intense beams and spot effects to dynamic wash and aerial looks.
"The Claypaky fixtures allowed me to produce a full spectrum of lighting looks to match the scale and energy of the concerts," said Sonpal. "The Xtylos provided incredibly intense beam effects, while the B-EYEs delivered dynamic aerial looks and the Tamboras and Arollas created vibrant wide-field washes. The diversity of the Claypaky fixture portfolio enabled me to realize the creative vision for this massive event."
The Jio World Garden concerts were a milestone event, marking the return of large-scale live entertainment to Mumbai. Gadhvi is one of India's most popular and recognizable music icons, and the concerts drew massive crowds over the two nights.
Sonpal appreciated the performance and reliability of the Claypaky gear provided by Light N Light. "Claypaky makes some of the most advanced and robust lighting fixtures available," he said. "They functioned flawlessly throughout the concerts, even under the challenging outdoor conditions. I was able to just focus on the creative programming and lighting design, confident that the equipment would deliver consistent and reliable performance."
