City Theatrical has announced the addition of two experienced lighting professionals to its sales team, John Demous and David Sousa.

John Demous is City Theatrical’s new sales specialist focusing on the tristate area. With 20 years of experience working with the industry’s top producers, designers, directors and talent on Broadway, national tours and international productions. John will play a pivotal role in connecting lighting designers and technicians with the solutions that best suit and exceed their unique needs. Having been involved in numerous complex projects from initial meetings to opening night, including Chicago the Musical, John brings with him a collaborative style, designer know-how, and technical problem solving ability from lighting control and systems in a wide variety of theatres throughout the world.

David Sousa is City Theatrical’s new western regional sales manager. Dave brings with him more than 16 years of experience in the entertainment lighting industry and extensive knowledge of theatrical, studio, and architectural lighting as a lighting dealer, manufacturer representative, and award-nominated lighting designer in Los Angeles, CA and Pensacola, FL. Dave has worked with and distributed City Theatrical products for his entire career. He will use his expertise to help lighting professionals develop proper solutions for their lighting needs as the go-to resource for City Theatrical products on the west coast.
