Gottelier 2018: Celebrate the people behind the products – nominate now

Each year, PLASA’s prestigious Gottelier Award recognises product developers who have made significant and sustained contributions to the advancement of entertainment, presentation or installation technology – whether in audio, lighting, rigging, staging or any related field. Presented to the winner at the PLASA Show, the award is named in memory of Tony Gottelier, the renowned industry innovator and commentator who passed away in 2006.

The nomination process allows anyone in the industry to put forward both individuals and development teams for consideration. Following the nomination stage, a shortlist of nominees is circulated to PLASA members and registered PLASA Show visitors, who exclusively vote to elect a winner. If you have a product developer or team in mind that you think deserves recognition, please send your nomination to awards@plasashow.com by Friday 17th August with GOTTELIER as the subject line.

Previous recipients of the Gottelier Award include: Wayne Howell (Artistic Licence), Anne Valentino (ETC), David Cunningham (Entertec), Pasquale Quadri (Clay Paky), Jim Bornhorst (Vari-Lite), John Meyer (Meyer Sound), Terry Clarke (Klark-Teknik, MC2 Audio), Fred Foster (ETC), Alex Cooper (Midas & Klark Teknik), John Stadius (DiGiCo / Soundtracs) and Tony Andrews (Funktion-One).
