White Light Brings Christmas to Natural History Museum

This Festive season, White Light has been called upon to supply the technical solutions at the Natural History Museum’s Earth Hall, with the venue hosting a range of Christmas parties and events.

The Earth Hall offers an intimate yet impressive event space at one of London’s most sought-after venues. It provides a unique destination for any Christmas event thanks to its awe-inspiring spaces and historic charm. Having supported the entire Christmas season last year, WL has been asked to return and supply the same services in 2018.

WL’s Production Account Manager Steve Burnham comments: “The Christmas events held at the Earth Hall are done so exclusively for the Natural History Museum’s clients. As a result, the venue wants to ensure they offer them the very best experience possible. It’s an indication of our strong working relationship that they put their entire trust in us to help deliver these events”.

For the Christmas events, WL has been tasked with providing the lighting, audio, staging and crew. There are 13 continuous events in total, with WL having to provide a technical set-up tailored to each one.

Steven explains: “Whilst the events might be taking place in the same space, each client wants their party to have an individual feel; such as if there’s specific branding or if they want to bring in musicians etc. Thankfully our knowledge of the space, coupled with our technical expertise and access to the latest technology, allows us to deliver exactly what each client requires”.

Robert Wetherell, Head of Venue Hire and Catering at the Natural History Museum, comments: “We’re delighted by the response we’ve received this year from clients who’ve been able to host unforgettable festive celebrations within our venue. We are also delighted to once again be working with WL, who have continued to supply expert technical support; not only during the Christmas period but throughout the entire year”.
