It was inTENTS at the Showman Show 2019

Welcoming visitors to our stand at the Showman Show in Newbury this Autumn were dynamic Area Sales Manager duo Andy and Arenna. There were many exciting new products along-side some longstanding lines for all attendees to get to grips with including truss, cables, staging and exterior lighting fixtures.

Taking centre stage was our Equinox Arcus low fogger, still proving super popular with its thick, ground hugging fog without the need for dry ice. Breaking out of the fog was out newest truss addition, the DNA series. This unique style truss was made into a podium, lit up with the new LEDJ Event Spot Rapids; super compact yet bright spot lights offering users a portable spotting, uplighting and washing solution. These fixtures have a magnetic base feature, allowing them to be quickly and easily mounted to a variety of surfaces.

Taking pride of place on top of the podium was one of our weatherproof Poseidon trio. This 400 Zoom Wash exterior fixture not only has 19 x 20W Osram Ostar™ quad-colour LEDs (RGBW) perfect for washing, it also has pixel mapping capabilities and an individual controllable LED ring (RGB) to create eye-candy effects. This moving head was joined by multiple other exterior fixtures from the LEDJ Q series including the QX40 Pixel Panel. Equipped with 40 x 10W RGBW LEDs, the QX40 is suitable for illuminating event spaces, stages or facades, while the zone control allows lighting designers to create stunning effects. A range of optional accessories including beam shaping lenses, snoots and barn doors further widen its applications.

Not forgetting our ever-expanding range of supplementary products including the eLumen8 cable rampsTitanex cables and PCE power distribution. And last but not least, making its first outing at the show was new Global Truss GT Tour Deck. We had a lot of interest regarding this robust range ideally suited to the demands of touring and theatre, which will be developed over the coming months to include more accessories.

Andy Barnby, Area Sales Manager of the Prolight Concepts Group Ltd said… “This years’ show has bucked the Brexit blues, with customers looking to continue investing for the rest of the year and well into 2020.
