“Most of 2020 and an increasing amount of 2021 have been a very challenging time for our industry. As a supplier of technology and services to pretty much all aspects of the live events sector, we have been hit as hard as so many other businesses. Our hearts go out to those people who have been affected by this pandemic from a human point of view, as well as an economic aspect.

We are fortunate to have started diversifying into new technologies and markets over five years ago and one of the things that has kept us solvent (as well as sane!) has been that we started pioneering XR technology about four years ago, long before anyone had heard of COVID, Coronavirus, or even uttered the words “you are on mute”!

The whole concept of our SmartStage® and XR has been less of a learning curve than it has been for many but equally the demand for virtual or hybrid events, as well as distance learning for educational establishments has really accelerated.
