Philip Burke
Biography
Philip is a freelance Lighting Programmer based in London. Since graduating from the Central School of Speech and Drama in 2017 he has worked in a wide range of roles, starting out as a production electrician in and touring relighter, he moved to focus on programming in 2020 programming his first West End Musical, Songs for a New World, later that year.
In 2023, Philip took a role as a Senior Lighting Programmer at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. During his time he worked on a multiple Opera, Ballets and Events, this included the Royal Opera new Production of Jephtha.
Philip left the Royal Ballet and Opera at the end of the 2024 season, looking to pursuit more theatrical and musical opportunities.
